Caregiving

Caregiving is one of the hardest things I've ever done, and my journey isn't over yet as I care for my mom with vascular dementia. While this disease is incredibly challenging, I've learned that finding moments to laugh can make all the difference. Like the time I found my mom's silverware hidden in a Kleenex box—sometimes, you just have to smile.

Key Components to Surviving Caregiving:

- Faith, Family, and Prayer: These are the pillars of my strength, helping me navigate the daily challenges of caregiving.
- Finding Joy in Simple Things: Whether it's making a batch of cookies or simply taking a moment to laugh, these small acts can provide much-needed relief.

I draw inspiration from the Bible, with verses like Philippians 4:13 reminding me, "I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens me." This scripture empowers me to face each day with renewed strength and faith.

Remember, laughter and faith are essential tools in the caregiving journey, helping you live happier and longer.

Key Components to my life are Faith, Family, and prayer, but somedays you just need to make a batch of cookies and pig out!

I gain inspiration from the bible. When I read certain scriptures, it empowers me. Like  Philippians 4:13, which reminds me, "I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens me."
